The Achieve with TELA information evening is an opportunity find out about our community of school-based teacher training, our ethos and why we are different. Children and young adults are at the heart of everything we do, this is the chance to meet some of the people involved and ask questions.

If this programme sounds like the course for you, please sign up or get in touch.

The structure of the evening is a presentation including why you might choose to train with Achieve with TELA, how our programme differs from other routes into teaching, information on applications and our selection process. This is followed by a chance to meet and talk to teachers from across the Alliance as well as our previous and current trainee teachers.

Our Achieve with TELA School based programme in primary and secondary offers practical, hands-on training from current practicing teachers and university specialists. You will develop your knowledge of how academic theory underpins your classroom practice. Our course structure covers the areas you need, so that you feel completely prepared to enter your Early Career Teacher (ECT) classroom. Working in partnership in primary and secondary schools across Leicester and Leicestershire with our partners providers the Leicestershire Secondary SCITT, University of Leicester and University of Warwick to offer PGCE accreditation, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and master level credits. (The accrediting partners depend on the age range/ subject)
